The final set of matches for the DPC Spring Tour comes from the North American region, where three teams, B8, Sand King Gomez, and Alpha, are put in a three-way tiebreaker situation. All three teams were tied with a score of 1-6, with two being relegated to Division II.
It took three rounds of tiebreakers to finally find a winner among the three teams. Dendi had an iconic finish to the insane tiebreakers by picking his trusty Pudge for the Mid Lane, defeating Sand King Gomez to continue playing in the first division in the next season.
Sand King Gomez and Alpha were the two teams promoted to Division I last season, but unfortunately, they will be heading back to the inferior division. The relegation of these two teams meant that all six remaining teams could defend their places in the upper division successfully.
